I am a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, where I have a subspecialist role in the Complex Movement Disorders service.
As a Clinician Scientist, my work bridges the gap between expert clinical care and translational research in neurogenetic disorders.
Clinical Practice
I manage children with a wide range of complex neurological conditions at the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, with subspecialist expertise in:
- Complex movement and tone disorders (including cerebral palsy)
- Assessment for deep brain stimulation, intrathecal baclofen pumps, botulinum toxin, and medical therapies
- Complex epilepsy
- Neurogenetic and neurometabolic conditions
- Neonatal and acquired brain injury
Academic Work
I am an Honorary Senior Research Associate at the University of Bristol and a clinician-scientist, having undertaken my PhD in paediatric neurology from UCL Great Ormond Street Institute of Child Health.
My research focuses on precision therapies for rare neurogenetic movement disorders, spanning clinical trials and translational neurogenetics.

- Complex epilepsy and neurological disability
